When I started to do my affirmation journal, two years ago, I decided at that time to do them Monday through Thursday with a reflection of the week on Friday. This in turn gave me the time on Saturday and Sunday to visit and revisit the lessons that my soul was speaking. Those of you who venture here are aware of this journey...but TODAY...today, my soul was speaking to me and I could not deny it...I could not deny to record it...for it spoke a message that perhaps was something I needed to hear. So on this rare Saturday, I record my affirmation...
A shimmer of something
awaken...
be aware...
listen closely...
feel the warmth...
stretch...
with new life
toward the shimmer
of something...
toward your truth.
Today, my spirit is sending me a message of truth in small shimmers...Perhaps, I have been somewhat aware of the shimmers over the past few weeks, but I did not hear it the way that I did today. When I am not aware of the whole picture and only get glimpses then sometimes the picture looks differently in the beginning than it does at the end. Today, the shimmers are brighter, and warmer...today, I am more aware of the total picture than I was before. Today, I am aware that I was not listening close enough before today. But, today, I stretch with a new life
toward the shimmering truth and I am awakened and aware.
