Protector

...she felt the warmth that she wrapped around herself...
...she felt the warmth and knew she was safe.

I am the protector of your heart...the one who wraps you in the quilt of safety.
I am the protector of your spirit...the one who gently guides you to your dreams.
I am the protector of your gratitude...the one who shows you the kindness from within.
I am the protector of your hurts...the one who surrounds you with warmth.
I am the protector....I am always wrapped around you....just be still and know me.
I am the protector ...
I will not let you fall...

Today, as I begin another chapter in my hero's journey I have begun to find my Archetypes...
the goddesses that help me on my journey...the ones within me...
Today, I am aware that the present one is the protector...who provides me with a quilt of warmth during my "coldest" of times...when I am vulnerable and sad...and yet, I am aware that she is always with me...
Artfully Yours,
Pattie

PS: How do you protect yourself...your heart...your gratitude?

Hello dear friend... Ahh.. the Protector...like a guardian of sorts...is the way my heart hears this. I too am vibin' to the Goddess archetypes, exploring, listening. And what better way to do it than thru the mysterious, magnificent mandala journey.

So.. how do I protect myself? ..by nurturing myself, providing a sacred space and containter for spirit to express and my soul to reveal..and my inner-artist to play. That container is my home studio space, my cozy corner in my favorite chair in teh living room, my monthly women's medicine circle; and I'll be starting a 4-week Art for the Soul 2.5 hour retreat each monday nights at a studio near my home; and most recently.. greater liberation is pouring through, so I'm acting on ideas, Synchronity is weaving it all together - and I am a Willing Weaver. And of course, Aha-phrodite...awareness/paying attention...is a keen protector/guardian.

Thank you for asking such empowering questions..and for always sharing your inner-explorations and your heart with us.
Keep shining, my luminous friend...

I appreciate your positive intentions. I also create my art to further my intentions in my life. Yes, it is an ongoing journey. Your circle is a wonderful container to embrace your colorful art. I have just started blogging my art journaling. I would be honored if you would visit me at http://dabblingabit.blogspot.com
