Today, I am aware that I have been re-connecting to love...seeing and being part of the hopes...
joys...and struggles of myself and those around me.
By re-connecting to love I am finding a better understanding...a better way to support each other...a better trust...a better communication...and a deeper commitment to those things.
Today, I am aware that I have been re-connecting to love...allowing more intimacy...deeper thoughts...bigger dreams...and more joy.

Today, I am aware of freedom...freedom from the bars I place around myself...my heart...my creativity...my love
Today, I am aware of freedom...the freedom to fly into the unknown with grace...with understanding that the door to this cage has always been open, I just did not see that...
Today, I am aware of freedom...I spread my wings...moving gently...feeling free.

As I reflect on this week I am aware that I have been searching and answering questions for myself as I sat on the cusp of the eye of the storm...I am aware that I have been taking control of my personal power...seeing things from a different perspective...owning that which belongs only to ME...and knowing fully that all my paths have led me here...here to where at this moment I fly past the bars of the cage of my own making...

Today, I am aware of paths...the different paths my life has taken...Some lined with pebbles...begging me to STOP...TURN BACK...DO NOT PROCEED! Some lined with a softness of feathers...where I float in COMFORT AND PEACE...Others lined with lessons during a series of UPS AND DOWNS...while still others have been continuously lined with LOVE.
Today, I am aware of paths...the different paths my life has taken...all which have directed me to NOW...all which have made me the person that I am today...all that remind me of things that can be accomplished...lessons that have been learned...and dreams that are yet to be realized...
Today, I am aware of paths...the different paths my life has taken...and I honor each one of those paths...I would not change a thing...I value the lessons...the love...knowing that each path has led me here...to who I am NOW at this very moment.

Today, I am aware of difference...the idea that birds swim and fish fly...an old proverb...which simply means to me that I can look at things differently....that I can carry on doing things in quite a different way then I have been.
Today, I am aware of difference...that sometimes I hold on to the past ways of relating to many things out of habit...fear...or not making a conscious choice...that I don't see the blessings in the here and now...and the difference I can make by choosing to swim or fly...
Today, I am aware of difference...and how if I allow myself to taste of the pleasures that are offered to me I can release the blueprints of my thinking...
Today, I am aware of difference...I take a deep breath...I allow myself to swim when I think I should fly....and fly when I think I should swim...and to get caught up in the difference.

Today, I am aware of being in the eye of the storm....I have been sitting on the edge of it for quite some time...but here there is a quiet...a time to figure things out...
Today, I am aware of being in the eye of the storm....where I am saying..."enough is enough"...
where I am aware that I must do something...I must reach out and hold true to myself...my dreams...my values....and even if what I choose to do turns out to be a mistake, at least I am throwing off the restrictions that appear to be limiting me...holding me in a pattern...taking away some of my energy.
Today, I am aware of being in the eye of the storm....where there is a quiet understanding with myself....where I am feeling that I will allow myself to shatter old patterns and limitations...so that I can see the amazing vitality and empowerment that is before me.
Today, I am aware of being in the eye of the storm....and I feel at peace.
